The Van Gansewinkel Group is committed to renewables in the broadest sense of the word. Renewables in the area of raw materials and energy. Our growth strategy is focused on these.
We want to find the best solution for our customers, given our commitment to the most sustainable solutions for our waste streams.
Incineration of waste is not optimal if you look at the raw material needs. But because of the various possibilities of retrieving energy (electricity, steam or heat) it is worth it. And so those plants that specifically recover energy will be a major force in the coming years but we’ll still be keeping our eyes on all those other solutions. Today we bring raw materials to the incinerator, but if tomorrow we can come up with a C2C solution, then that will always be our preference.
The Van Gansewinkel Group is working continuously on developing new improved methods and techniques to convert waste better into useful raw material, building material and fuel.
Our geographical portfolio is firmly centred in Benelux, but it’s our ambition to create a second home market. Our growth will be, over the medium term, in recycling as this offers the best opportunity to deliver our C2C philosophy. We have years of experience in countries as Czech Republic and sooner or later and at a time of our choosing, acquisitions will provide
